Another of my passions besides food- is wine and everything connected with that world. It is why I work in wine tourism. When I have to organize a wine-related event, one of my duties is to visit wineries to see which one best fits my needs.

This was not the case the other day, when I visited Marqués de Riscal, with a friend, simply for pleasure. It is very rarely that I get the opportunity to do this.

I must say that before visiting I had a completely different idea of the hotel’s architecture as carried out by Canadian architect Frank O. Gehry. I was really shocked because parts of the structure are seamlessly integrated into the landscape. I could not really appreciate this from the pictures.

First, there was a tour of the winery, then a wine tasting and, finally, we went to the terrace for a drink. What a beautiful view of vineyards and the village.

I leave here some photos I took, I will put more photos on Facebook and leave the link to Marqués de Riscal in case anyone needs more information.
